Privacy

Plain answer first: reading this site requires nothing from you, and we run no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to type into a form.

What we collect

If you use the tips page, we store what you submit: your message, the kind of enquiry, the page a correction refers to, and any name, email or phone number you choose to include. All contact fields on the tip and correction forms are optional; anonymous tips are welcome. Submissions are stored securely and used only to follow up the tip, correction or enquiry they belong to. We do not sell or share them, and we never publish a tipster’s identity.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, as any web host does. We use aggregate, non-identifying traffic counts to understand what is being read.

Fonts

Pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers when a page loads. No other third-party resources are loaded.
